Job Overview
Executive Recruitment Asia is working with a globally recognised Online Media business to find an experienced Content Writer that is fluent in Japanese. As the Content Writer, you will be responsible for the development of a variety of iGaming related content. This can take the shape of reviews, articles, blogs, emails, etc. Working alongside the SEO and Product teams, the Content Writer will be responsible for the ideation, creation, updating, and coordination of site content, ensuring that the content produced allows the brand to increase online traffic, engagement, and conversion.
Responsibilities
- Taking full responsibility of all language content produced on the site; be it through content writing, ordering outsourced content and translations
- Working daily with the Product Manager/Specialist and the overall product function to develop and execute the agreed content strategy making sure SEO principles are always taken into consideration
- Uploading and publishing of quality content on the required sites in a timely manner
- Working closely with the SEO, email marketing, design and marketing teams to deliver effective campaigns and promotions
- Ensuring that all content on the site is up to date, SEO friendly and of high quality, while ensuring that content is regularly updated or reworked
- Monitoring and reporting to make business cases for localised promotions for retention and acquisition
- Analysing the market trends and developing ideas on increasing digital content effectiveness
- Carry out regular and extensive competitor analysis, stay up to date with market trends
- Any other ad hoc tasks which may be assigned by management from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum of one year’s professional experience in writing and publishing search engine optimised content using Content Management Systems (WordPress and SEO Content writing skills would be considered a great asset Minimum of six months’ professional experience in iGaming (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-starter who takes pride in their work
- Great time-management skills and the ability to prioritise and work with deadlines
- A keen eye for detail Strong creative skills, focused on improvement, an ‘out of the box’ mindset Image and video editing skills would be nice to have
- Native Japanese speaker (English language knowledge would be an asset)
