With great tech, solid APIs, and a proven track record of supporting many Fintech Unicorns, they have firmly cemented their position as one of, if not the world’s leading PSP. The payment volumes processed on the platform have grown 10X in recent years, with the business now spanning 160 clients in 60 countries, using over 150 currencies.   With many incumbent processors being hampered by legacy technology and banks needing to transform their customer experience. We are working with clients that will not be fazed by the restraints of the corporate banking system and will continue to maintain a strong growth trajectory in the exciting years ahead.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and support the database infrastructure mostly Microsoft SQL 2016 and above.
  • Implementation of new projects as part of the development streams as well as platform improvements.
  • Identification of issues, developing solutions, providing guidance and proposals, implementation, and support.

Requirements

  • SME SQL 2016 Enterprise edition including always-on  configurations, distributed replication, and database management.
  • Real-world experience with Installation, Performance Monitoring, Security, and high availability and backups.
  • SQL monitoring and performance tools.
  • A passion for technology and the need to understand what is new, working with others to question ways of working, and plan implementations advancing the company and their knowledge.
  • Experience working with development life cycle models including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
