Job Overview
Executive Recruitment Asia is partnering with a global award-winning payments pioneer that powers many cutting-edge payment programs, including digital banks, e-wallets, and global Fintech companies and is now spanning 160 clients in 60 countries, using over 150 currencies. As the SME for Regulatory Compliance matters, you will be working closely with the Head of Legal APAC and will be the go-to person to 5 offices in Asia and Australia assisting with new Legislations, Regulatory Documentation and Updates, Compliance Updates and Law & Compliance Implementation across the business.
Responsibilities
- Planning, preparation & management of compliance certifications and audit.
- Ongoing auditing and reporting on the organization’s compliance.
- Collaborate across all business functions to create a culture of compliance.
- Assist in planning & performance of risk assessments to understand risk level, significance and scope.
- Assist external audits in consultation with business process owners and enterprise risk.
- Support management with testing of controls independent of audit schedule.
- Monitoring compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
- Implementing and documenting all policies and procedures.
- Identifying, analysing, and resolving compliance issues.
- Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisations.
- Communicating regulations to internal and external parties.
- Communicating across stakeholders/departments to ensure alignment of goals.
- Serving as a subject-matter expert on all compliance-related matters.
- assist in gathering of internal information in response to regulatory request.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with appropriate parties.
- Developing procedures and workflows to meet compliance documentation standards.
- Review marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Creating and executing any employee training documents or sessions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Regulatory Compliance in a global financial services environment.
- Proven experience working with Regulatory Authorities.
- Understanding of technologies and security considerations within enterprise environments, digital, mobile/web development.
- Proven understanding of control principles including logical access controls, change control, segregation of duties, IT security.
- Demonstrates project management experience and skills.
