Job Overview
Executive Recruitment Asia is working with a globally recognised Online Media business to find them a Website Operations Assistant to support a growing team of marketing experts, in Japan. This role can be based in the Japan or Australia offices, or remotely across the Asia Pacific region.
Responsibilities
- Writing, researching and publishing a variety of engaging Japanese content for the main website.
- Creating and editing videos related.
- Ensuring content tasks and requests received are completed in a professional and timely manner and to a high-quality standard.
- Managing membership in a forum, such as responding to signup, distributing membership points to each account, etc.
- Responding to membership and dealing with inquiries by communicating with operators if necessary.
- Collaborating with various teams to develop, implement and adapt content strategies in line with overall product strategies and audience needs.
- Working together, and regularly communicating with, fellow Japanese team members and other teams to ensure all stakeholders are working together to achieve common goals for each website.
- Managing online campaigns/promotions for special events relevant to the Japanese market.
- Collecting, analysing and reporting data to your team after campaigns.
- Issuing and managing marketing links from casino sites.
- Understanding aggregation systems in each site and correcting data accurately.
- Engaging in social media activities and presence for the Japanese market.
- Following market trends for the Japanese market so that learnings can be applied according to the needs and interests of our users.
- Building intelligence around the Japanese audiences of our sites through initiatives such as user surveys.
- Proactively identifying website issues and/or potential improvements and raising these with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in the Online Media, iGaming or eGaming industries is highly desirable.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A highly-motivated, solution-driven individual with the ability to work in an efficient, mature and professional manner.
- Great time-management skills and the ability to work to deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong creative skills and the initiative and drive to brainstorm and implement fresh ideas to improve existing content and create new engaging, user-centric content.
- Great curiosity and willingness to learn new things.
- Excellent command of the Japanese language.
- Conversational fluency in English is highly regarded.
