Job Overview

ERA is excited to be partnering with an exciting investment business who are looking to hire an experienced Chief of staff to be located out of their new Singapore office, to join a growing investment business. As they expand their operations globally from the headquarters in Cyprus to Singapore, this role will play a pivotal role in driving organisational efficiency, streamlining operations, and supporting the executive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in executive support, strategic planning, and project management, focusing on optimising workflows and enhancing decision-making processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to contribute to the success and growth of a company on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives. Provide comprehensive support in crafting and implementing organisational strategies, including market expansion plans and operational improvements.
  • Streamline administrative processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and maximise productivity. Implement systems and procedures to optimise resource allocation, information flow, and decision-making processes across the organisation.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and confidant to the CEO, providing critical support in managing priorities, scheduling, and communication. Anticipate and proactively address the needs of the executive team, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of tasks.
  • Oversee special projects and initiatives on behalf of the executive team, from conception to completion. Drive cross-functional collaboration, facilitate effective communication, and monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison between the executive team, internal departments, and external stakeholders. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, investors, and partners, to facilitate strategic alignment and collaboration.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and data synthesis to support informed decision-making by the executive team. Provide insights and recommendations on business opportunities, market trends, and operational challenges to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Support leadership development initiatives and talent management programs to cultivate a high-performing and engaged workforce. Collaborate with HR to identify talent gaps, implement succession planning strategies, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Lead change management initiatives to drive organisational transformation and foster a culture of innovation and agility. Support the executive team in communicating vision, managing resistance, and driving adoption of change initiatives across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken French and English is essential.
  • Proven experience in a Chief of Staff or similar strategic leadership role, preferably within the finance, investment, or technology sector.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills, with the ability to drive complex initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, capable of identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.
  • Experience working in a global organisation with a diverse workforce and multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues, synthesize information, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and discussions at the executive level.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant software applications.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and work across different time zones as needed.
