Job Overview
ERA are excited to be partnering with a leading B2B iGaming company based in Taipei. Who are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to join a leading B2B iGaming business based in Taipei, Taiwan. As a key member of the leadership team, the Commercial Director will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the companys commercial activities, ensuring growth, and fostering key partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in the iGaming industry, coupled with strong leadership skills to guide our sales and marketing teams to success.
Responsibilities
- Full Ownership of Marketing Channels: Take charge of all key marketing channels, devising and executing comprehensive strategies to enhance the companys market presence.
- Sales Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement annual sales strategies, budgets, and goals, aligning them with the overall business objectives. Present and seek approval for the annual budget, demonstrating a clear understanding of market trends and opportunities.
- Leadership in Ongoing Campaigns: Provide effective leadership and direction to the sales team, ensuring seamless execution of ongoing campaigns. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation within the team.
- Compliance and Social Responsibility: Ensure all marketing and advertising activities adhere to gambling legislation and uphold social responsibility standards. Implement measures to guarantee compliance with industry regulations and ethical practices.
- Promotional Campaign Development: Develop impactful promotional campaigns, utilising strategic insights to drive internal team initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns align with overall business objectives.
- Cross-Departmental Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across different departments within the organisation.
- Partnership Management: Manage and optimise existing partnerships with team members while actively identifying new opportunities. Work closely with internal teams to deliver a unified and exceptional customer experience.
- Customer Issue Resolution: Act as an authority figure to effectively address and resolve customer issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Implement strategies to enhance customer relations and loyalty.
- Stakeholder Development and Management: Take charge of the development and management of key stakeholders, nurturing long-term partnerships. Cultivate relationships with key industry players to strengthen the companys position in the market.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Conduct interviews and hire commercial team members, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent. Oversee training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the commercial team.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field; additional qualifications in business or marketing are a plus.
- Exceptional written and spoken English, Fluency in Chinese would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the B2B iGaming industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on cross-departmental collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of gambling legislation and a commitment to socially responsible business practices.
