ERA is excited to be partnering with a leading specialist in tech that is seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join their dynamic team. This role, reporting to the Head of Tech, is crucial for bringing their innovative projects to life. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience of their online casino products.
Responsibilities
- Utilise HTML to create user-friendly web pages, optimising for performance and mobile devices.
- Maintain and update the frontend of the website, ensuring responsiveness, user-friendliness, and visual appeal.
- Collaborate with Full Stack Developers to enhance usability.
- Identify and promptly resolve any frontend issues, bugs, or glitches.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure a flawless user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, implementing the latest technologies and design principles.
- Support the design and UI/UX teams in crafting visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
- Collaborate with the security team to maintain a secure and compliant online casino environment.
- Gather and implement feedback from users and customers.
- Assist with coding and troubleshooting, ensuring high-quality work that aligns with brand consistency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug frontend issues effectively.
- Knowledge of SEO and web performance optimisation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Proficiency in working with Figma files and translating designs to the frontend.
- In-depth understanding of the web development process, from design to deployment.
- Familiarity with design aesthetics and software tools like Adobe Suite and Photoshop.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with strong analytical and multitasking skills.
- BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Atlassian Software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in using online collaboration and project management software such as Miro, Confluence, and Slack.
- Understanding of online casino regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Experience using Docker and AWS.
