ERA is excited to be partnering with a leading, Brisbane-based specialist in tech product creation, that is seeking a highly motivated Mathematician/Game Designer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing engaging and profitable slot machine games within the online casino space.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Designers to create innovative game concepts tailored for global markets.
- Develop mathematical models for slot machine games, ensuring fair gaming experiences for players.
- Produce technical and regulatory documentation required for game development and compliance.
- Peer review fellow Game Designers calculations, code, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Game Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in the casino gaming industry as a Slot Mathematician or Game Designer.
- Proficiency in C or C++ programming.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including a deep understanding of probability and statistics.
- Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt and iterate based on player feedback and market trends.
- Proficiency in Atlassian Software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English.
