ERA is excited to be partnering with an experienced tech-savvy gaming business armed with more than 10+ years of expertise in the online gaming industry, their main goal is to continuously deliver a highly dynamic and entertaining experience in the online gaming world. As the Senior DevOps Network Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the operations team, coordinating various departments, and establishing robust operational systems and security protocols. They must possess a deep understanding of Linux systems, cloud computing, and virtualisation technologies such as Docker and K8S, along with proficiency in DEVOPS tools and microservices architecture. This role demands strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and leadership skills, as well as the capacity to manage high-pressure situations and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall construction and improvement of the operations team, planning, organising, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the work of the operations department and other teams.
- Responsible for establishing and improving operational systems, processes, management strategies, and security policies.
- Responsible for developing operational resource requirement plans, managing, and efficiently utilising operational resources, and effectively controlling overall operational costs.
- Responsible for improving the existing operations system, enhancing the professional skill level of the operations team, and establishing standardised and efficient operational systems.
- Responsible for arranging and coordinating product deployment, online operations, and daily maintenance management.
- Leading the operations team to ensure operational security, handling operational incidents, optimising various maintenance work standards, and operating procedures, continuously reducing system risks, capable of handling all types of emergency incidents 24/7, establishing appropriate emergency plans, and organising drills.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or above, with over 5 years of operational work experience, and at least 2 years of operational management experience.
- In-depth understanding of the Linux operating system and operational architecture, skilled in stability improvement, and efficiency enhancement; familiarity with network security, databases, storage, and related skills.
- Familiarity with cloud computing products and services such as AWS, proficient in virtualisation technologies such as Docker, and proficient in K8S.
- Familiar with DEVOPS concepts and tools, with experience in microservices architecture and cluster management, data analysis, and mining capabilities, as well as experience in automated operations.
- Familiar with the workflow of Internet operations, high sensitivity to operational work, clear thinking, strong logical thinking ability, adept at data analysis, and capable of forming reports.
- Good management, communication, teamwork, service orientation, and professionalism, able to organise and implement technical-related work effectively.
- Ability to handle pressure, good problem-solving skills, excellent self-learning ability, self-management ability, and a high sense of responsibility.
