Our client is an exciting Tech startup who Is using innovation and strategic market position for rapid expansion of their business, they are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join their team. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic guidance to support to the business. You will play a critical role in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making and optimise business performance. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with financial regulations and promote sound financial practices throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the companys overall objectives and promote financial stability.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support effective decision-making.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and assess new business initiatives, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements, ensuring optimal utilisation of company resources.
- Oversee financial risk management activities, including monitoring market trends, assessing credit risks, and implementing appropriate controls.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws, collaborating with external auditors and legal advisors as necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, stakeholders, and partners to support funding and investment needs.
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A relevant Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial leadership role within the tech industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Solid understanding of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Proficient in financial modelling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial management software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
