Job Overview
Our client is an exciting Tech startup who is using innovation and strategic market position for rapid expansion of their business, they are seeking a talented and experienced HR Manager. As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within the business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the companys overall objectives and promote a positive work environment. You will provide guidance and support to employees and managers in areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that support the companys vision, values, and business objectives.
- Lead the talent acquisition process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create effective recruitment and retention strategies.
- Oversee employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Manage and administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, making recommendations and implementing changes as necessary.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, promoting a positive work culture and fostering employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR, implementing innovative approaches to enhance HR processes and practices.
Requirements
- Degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role within the tech industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is desirable.
