Job Overview
Executive Recruitment Asia has been retained by a well-established tech start-up company to assist them with the recruitment of an IT Manager. The IT Manager will assist the Chief Product Officer with building on the existing IT practices, policies and procedures to transition the company from its start-up origins to a more compliant and regulatory acceptable position. It is essential that this role is office based, so the candidate will need to be based in Melbourne, Australia or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation.
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
- Conducting regular system audits and running regular operation system reports.
- Overseeing and implementing major IT projects including system updates, upgrades and migrations.
- Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.
- Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of regulations.
- Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
Requirements
- Qualification or degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services
- Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
- Proficient in cloud domain management, user provisioning, computer hardware and support, wireless technology applications and general IT security
- Sports & Gambling knowledge advantageous
