Job Overview

Executive Recruitment Asia is searching for an experienced Regional Director to join a successful Regional Management Team for an Independent Technology Provider for B2b iGaming industry. The successful candidate will develop, lead and manage the B2B commercial activities for the business and implement an innovative, growth focused commercial strategy for Asia market. This role can be based remotely in an APAC region, but travel will be needed as and when required.

Responsibilities

This role is absolutely central to business growth and reports to the Head of International Offices.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of company products as well as competing products and services (including strengths, weaknesses, and pricing).
  • Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline of new business and ensure a smooth set up and onboarding process of deals, with a good handover to the other teams in the organisation.
  • Respond to queries, tenders, RFPs, and other requests for information in a timely manner and ensure that all sales opportunities are fully captured and fully explored.
  • Develop sales forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans for the region. Make recommendations to reduce any variances versus budget and provide additional timely feedback as appropriate.
  • Ensure that all internal company procedures/policies are documented and followed.
  • Investigate and create opportunities to enhance the achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Participate in internal review meetings to ensure that partner performance improvement initiatives and developments are being prioritised and progressed as appropriate, communicating with, and managing partner.

Requirements

  • Experience in the online gaming industry with a focus on B2B sales or business development.
  • Experience in building/managing teams, including sales, account management.
  • Liaise with and keep informed about other key business areas such as integration support, service delivery and product development so that Business Development plans and requirements are fully understood.
  • Reporting on the weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to the company management on performance of the team.
  • Mentoring and supporting the team to achieve business goals and targets and ensuring industry and market knowledge of the team is kept up to date.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department to develop regional campaigns to local industry events.
  • Represent the company at appropriate industry events in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Ability to clearly express oneself in both the English and Chinese languages. Proficiency in other Asian languages additionally will be considered as an advantage.
  • Extensive Knowledge of the iGaming industry and a deep knowledge of sports betting technology platforms and regulation.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (sometimes at short notice).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
