Job Overview
Executive Recruitment Asia is working with a globally recognised media business to find them an Website Design Manager to join a fantastic team of professionals in Japan. The selected candidate will be leading a team of marketing and graphic designers, ensuring that the work is of top quality and productivity is high. Forming part of the Design Department, you will work alongside other professionals teams to create and improve products. This role is to be based in Japan, Australia or remotely within Asia Pacific region.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor and lead a team of Marketing Designers and Graphic Designers.
- Work with key stakeholders to deliver against the business’ commercial objectives.
- Take ownership of the Graphic and UI Design processes.
- Direct and oversee multiple brand developments or improve multiple projects at a time.
- Continually review team’s work and implement necessary changes to design practices.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of design and branding guidelines and standards.
- Work closely with team members and other colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to design.
- Be an active contributor to creative processes by offering input, providing feedback and sharing ideas.
- Liaise with stakeholders to discuss and understand requirements and help resolve any work-related issues.
