Executive Recruitment Asia is working with a globally recognised Online Media business to find them a Product Manager to join the Esports Product Team, in Japan. This role would suit a highly motivated Esports enthusiastic, who is looking for growth and opportunity in one of the fastest growing industries in the world. This role is to be based in Japan, Australia, or remotely within Asia Pacific region.


  • Taking full responsibility for all language content produced on the site; be news articles and other contents articles.
  • Ensuring content tasks and requests received are completed in a professional and timely manner and to a high-quality standard.
  • Planning and managing new content, online campaigns, and promotions for special events relevant to the Japanese market.
  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting data to your team.
  • Ensuring having a good professional relationship with business partners.
  • Working together, and regularly communicating with the Japan team members and other teams to ensure all stakeholders are working together to achieve common goals for each website.
  • Engaging in social media activities and presence in the Japanese market.
  • Following market trends for the Japanese market so that learnings can be applied according to the needs and interests of the users.
  • Proactively identifying website issues and/or potential improvements and raising these with relevant stakeholders.


  • Experience in or a strong passion for the Esports industry is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in operating a website site.
  • Previous experience in writing content.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • To be a highly-motivated, solution-driven individual with the ability to work in an efficient, mature, and professional manner.
  • Great time-management skills and the ability to work to deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong creative skills and the initiative and drive to brainstorm and implement fresh ideas to improve existing content and create new engaging, user-centric content.
  • Fluent in Japanese language with an excellent command of English language.
