Our Client, is a dynamic holding company at the forefront of the iGaming industry, amalgamating an array of innovative online and offline gaming ventures. With a strategic vision centred around mergers and acquisitions, their aim is to establish itself as a preeminent leader in the gaming sector. As part of this endeavour, we are seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to spearhead the financial operations, driving the business towards its strategic objectives through meticulous budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial analysis. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial landscape, requiring a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills and a profound understanding of budget management within the online gaming industry. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, coupled with a proven ability to lead and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual and quarterly budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and reflecting market dynamics of the online gaming industry.
- Develop, maintain, and refine advanced financial models for budgeting and forecasting, incorporating industry-specific metrics and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with key department heads to collect, analyse, and leverage financial data for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and formulating optimisation strategies.
- Establish and enforce stringent budgeting policies and controls to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
- Drive the evolution of financial reporting and analytics practices tailored to the online gaming industry.
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering an environment of growth and innovation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting financial strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with significant exposure to the online gaming or digital entertainment industries.
- Proven track record in financial modelling, budgeting, and variance analysis, with deep understanding of economic factors unique to online gaming.
- Proficiency in financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and Excel; experience with gaming analytics platforms advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and organisational skills with effective communication abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team building and supervision in a collaborative environment.
- Capacity to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a hands-on approach in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluency in Both English and French would be preferred.
