The business is committed to creating a best-of-breed gaming experience developing the iGaming Platform and Sportsbook on the latest market trends and innovations. Brisbane-based company specialising in the creation, management, and marketing of tech products, dedicated to developing start-up projects in line with the latest market trends and innovations. With a state-of-the-art office space, regular team activities, and a dynamic group of professionals, they are looking for a Digital Graphic Artist/Illustrator to join the team. This role reports to the Head of Tech and involves contributing to the ongoing development of online casino products.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualisation and Design: Collaborate with the game design team to develop visually stunning concepts for slot games.
- Translate conceptual ideas into high-quality visual assets, including symbols, backgrounds, and animations.
- Asset Creation: Produce high-quality 2D and 3D art assets for slot games, aligning with the artistic vision and technical specifications.
- Create visually appealing characters, icons, and backgrounds to enhance the gaming experience.
- Animation: Develop eye-catching animations for in-game elements, transitions, and special effects.
- Collaborate with game developers to seamlessly integrate animations into the slot game environment.
- Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Ensure all visual assets align with established brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive visual style across projects.
- Iteration and Feedback: Actively participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and iterating on designs based on team input.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance visual elements throughout the development process.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in graphic design, Digital Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Digital Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing abilities.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- 3D modelling/texturing/animation skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual appeal of digital products.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Great attention to detail.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- English fluency.
- Must be based in Brisbane.
