ERA is the recruitment partner of a leading company in the tech space, and embarking on a search for a Social Media and Online Community Manager to join their Marketing Team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining their online presence and ensuring that the community feels connected, vibrant, and supported. The role will preferably be based in the Brisbane offices. Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of community managers, ensuring they are equipped to manage user interactions. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Community Engagement: Engage with users across various platforms, implementing strategies to foster active community participation. Organize community events and competitions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency in community interactions by reviewing chat logs and support inquiries. Maintain a feedback loop with support teams.
- Content Creation and Management: Collaborate to create engaging content, ensuring alignment with brand values. Maintain a comprehensive social media calendar and automate posts for regular engagement.
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor community engagement metrics and provide insights based on the data collected.
- Crisis Management: Address community-related issues and establish guidelines to prevent and manage negative behaviours.
- Collaboration: Work alongside various departments to enhance the user experience, offering community insights for product development and staying updated with the latest social media tools.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year in a similar role.
- Track record of quality improvements.
- Collaborative work ethic, addressing client complaints and working with external stakeholders.
- Experience in budgeting, social media strategy development, and project management.
- Availability outside regular business hours and weekends.
- Understanding of technical platform design.
- Experience in the iGaming/sportsbook industry.
- Proficiency in collaboration software such as Jira, Miro, Confluence, Slack, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Multilingual capabilities.
